Our Regional Directors team
Stuart Urquhart – Regional Director
With over a decade’s experience in Asset Finance, Stuart brings a wealth of knowledge and a strong track record of building trusted relationships with brokers. His ability to understand what clients need and deliver the right solution to them quickly make him a great fit for our team and our relationship-led approach.
Outside of work, Stuart’s either in the gym, watching rugby, or being kept on his toes by his two young children.
Jamie Glenn, Regional Director
Jamie joined as a Regional Director with Ultimate Finance in 2019 and, since then, has been continuously working hard to best support his broker network and our clients. Through his work, he helps businesses purchase assets key to their growth or to simply just keep moving and supports their cashflow requirements through the refinancing of existing assets to quickly access working capital.
When Jamie isn’t busy building his working relationships, he is either spending time with his family at his favourite spot, Whitby beach, or getting lost in the music he is playing as a DJ.
Daniel Sellwood, Regional Director
Dan started at Ultimate Finance in 2022 and brought with him over 10 years of experience in the industry. He has successfully pushed through barriers to support our brokers and help our clients reach their business potential. And by providing funding that really makes a difference, he has also been assisting businesses that find themselves at a crossroad.
Dan has two children, and is newly married, and when he’s not being a father or husband, he enjoys watching and supporting Southampton Football Club or playing on a golf course.
John Hallett, Regional Director
John started at Ultimate Finance in 2017, and since then has supported and maintained a high level of broker relationships and has been working with them to support more and more businesses across the country. With a passion for Asset Finance, his vast knowledge and experience in securing the right deal for his clients has seen many of our clients grow from strength to strength.
Although if asked his partner would tell us he works all the time, you can, on occasions, find John on a golf course or supporting Leicester Football Club.
Stephen Brook, Senior Regional Director
Since starting at Ultimate Finance in 2016, Stephen has always ensured he provides an excellent service to brokers, business owners and partners. He thrives on working with his introducer network, having worked with many of his contacts for over a decade now. Through funding hard assets and providing funding that can help make a difference, he is very proud to have already supported the ambitions of businesses across all industries and to have contributed to their success.
Dedicating most of his spare time to his daughter, Stephen also enjoys football and boxing, having competed in both in his younger years.
Our Broker Desk team
Jenni Goosen, Head of Broker Desk
Jenni joined Ultimate Finance in 2024 as part of the Broker Desk team, where she supports our Regional Directors nationwide and identifies new business opportunities to drive continued growth. Having proved a great success since joining the team, Jenni was promoted to head up the Broker Desk in July 2025 and now drives the department forward as our Asset Finance business continues to grow quickly and strongly.
With first-hand experience as a former business owner, Jenni understands the challenges entrepreneurs face and draws on this insight to support brokers and help clients access the most suitable funding solutions to achieve their goals.
Outside of work—and when she’s not busy looking after her three children—Jenni enjoys socialising with friends and keeping up with the latest must-watch drama series.
Ashleigh Conroy – Broker Coordinator
Ashleigh brings a wealth of customer service experience and a real drive to get things done. She’s all about solving problems quickly and keeping things moving, exactly what our brokers and their clients need.
Outside of work, you’ll find her chasing the sun, planning her next getaway, or rolling up her sleeves on a home renovation project with her partner.
Bradley Shaw – Broker Coordinator
Joining us in 2025 with a clear ambition to build a career in sales, Brad joins us with enthusiasm and a dedication to upskilling fast. In a short space of time, he’s already built strong relationships with colleagues, Regional Directors and brokers, bringing energy, curiosity and a real commitment to learning.
He’s got a natural ability to juggle a busy workload while keeping the focus on helping businesses move forward, making him a great fit for the team and a real asset to our broker partners.
Outside of work, Brad’s often found on the football pitch playing for his local team, Collingham – a passion that started in childhood with time in the Nottingham Forest juniors and a short spell at Everton.
Rayhana Mokhfi – Broker Coordinator
A recent Finance graduate from Leicester University, Rayhanna brings fresh thinking, sharp insight and a strong understanding of today’s market dynamics. And while she’s only just getting started, she’s already making a name for herself, combining curiosity, commercial awareness and a real drive to deliver.
Outside of work, you’ll find Rayhanna unwinding with a classic sci-fi film or putting in the work at the gym.
Tansy Pratten, Broker Coordinator
Considered as one of the longest serving members at Ultimate Finance, Tansy joined the business when it was just a start up, and thus has experienced first-hand the evolution of our lending proposition. Having assumed many roles throughout the years, she is now part of our Broker Desk where she enjoys developing relationships with introducers.
Married to her childhood sweetheart, they share their home with their two lively children, and she enjoys weekends away to explore new places or sharing food and drinks with friends when she’s not exercising to keep on top of her physical and mental health.
Ben Grisole, Broker Coordinator
Ben started in 2024 and, although he is the youngest member of our Broker Desk, he hasn’t’ let his age stand in the way of performance. He has been playing a key part within the team by supporting our Head of Broker Desk, Bethan, as well as our Regional Directors and their customers. No task is too big for Ben, and he will go out of his way to ensure brokers and business owners are happy with the solutions we provide them.
Ben enjoys snowboarding, so in his downtime, he is always thinking of the next spot to visit to get on the slopes.
Our Underwriting team
Jamie Ray, Underwriter
Jamie joined us as an Underwriter in 2022 and brought with him an extensive knowledge and experience in the industry. Before this, he worked in a wide variety of commercial credit application, which made for a seamless transition to Ultimate Finance. He enjoys the fast paced aspect of his role and getting to work with a wide variety of assets.
Jamie doesn’t really get ‘spare’ time as on the evenings and weekend he enjoys getting greasy from doing maintenance work on his car or getting covered in plaster whilst refurbing his home.
Charlotte Metcalf, Underwriter
Charlotte has worked with us since 2019, when she joined our Invoice Finance team as an Assistant Relationship Manager. Showing an interest in underwriting, she later moved to our Asset Finance team in 2021 where later began her journey as an Underwriter. Her passion and dedication to this role is to balance affordable lending and our risk appetite. She endeavours to find ways to tailor funding solutions that work for our introducers and clients and enjoys being an integral part of being a ‘story book lender’.
In Charlotte’s spare time, she enjoys travelling, with her latest adventures including visiting Croatia, Turkey and Greece to name a few.
Sophie Illife, Underwriter
Sophie was fresh out of university when she joined us in 2017 as a member of our Payouts team. She then moved onto our Asset Finance Broker Desk in 2019 and then in 2023 became one of our Underwriters where her extensive knowledge has been paramount to our success. Sophie is always the first to offer assistance with any queries or questions from colleagues and customers and she thrives on delivering great results, especially when working on challenging deals.
Outside of work, you may find her exploring with her partner in their caravan or taking time out for herself and going for a run.
Meg Illife, Underwriter
Meg started in the Payouts team in 2020, and has recently moved to our Asset Finance Underwriting tea, where she plays a key part integral to our ‘one touch underwriting approach’. She enjoys the array of work that her role provides, as no two deals are the same and each brings a new challenge. Her passion and drive have made her a real asset to our team, and have led her to recently successfully complete her Asset Finance Diploma.
When Meg isn’t underwriting Asset Finance proposals, she enjoys running, crocheting as well as watching the latest crime series.
Amber Brownsword, Underwriter
Amber joined our Asset Finance team in 2021 as an Administrator in our Pay-Outs team before becoming a part of our Broker Desk where she has been thriving on the rewarding aspect of the role, especially when working alongside our broker network to help a challenging deal get over the line.
In her free time, she loves to travel, with Nepal currently at the top of her bucket list or adding new shoes to her impressive collection of trainers.
