Our Regional Directors team
Daniel Sellwood, Regional Director
The newest member to our Sales team, Daniel joined us in the summer of 2022 and brought with him over 10 years of experience in the industry, having worked as both part of a lending team and been a broker himself. What he likes most about working at Ultimate Finance is the opportunity to work with clients who are at a crossroad in their business and see our funding really make a difference.
When he’s not helping to provide much-needed funding to business owners, he enjoys playing football, mountain biking and playing the drums. Having just celebrated his 30th birthday, he and his fiancée and two children are looking forward to a summer wedding this July.
Jamie Glenn, Regional Director
Having worked in the industry for over 20 years Jamie joined Ultimate Finance three years ago. Talking about what motivates him most in his job, he says that the quick turnaround and opportunity for a personal approach are the main differentiators from past experiences.
Sharing his life with his wife of 15 years and their wonderful 10-year-old son, Jamie has a passion for films and music and moonlights as a DJ in clubs across the UK and Europe since the 1990s!
John Hallett, Regional Director
John has been a part of the Ultimate Finance team for almost six years and loves creating strong and long-lasting relationships with Introducers, getting to know them well, and he can often be found playing golf with some or catching up around a round of beers after having provided their clients with funding facilities.
Proud father of two, John also has a passion for sports: he is a big football fan who supports Leicester and enjoys playing golf, for which he holds a single figure handicap.
Stephen Brook, Senior Regional Director
Stephen has an impressive 15 years of experience in Asset Finance, nearly half of which have been spent here at Ultimate Finance. Celebrating his seventh year with the business, he enjoys working with his network of Introducers, many of whom he has now worked with for nearly a decade now, and supporting businesses by funding hard assets that can make a real difference and contribute to their success.
A big fan of sports, he enjoys playing football and boxing, having competed in both in his younger years. Nowadays, he can also be found swimming with his soon-to-be seven-year-old daughter – that is when they’re not hunting for the closest ice cream shop together!
Our Broker Desk team
Bethan Holliday, Head of Broker Desk
Bethan brings to the team over 20 years’ experience in the finance industry, with the last four and a half spent as part of Ultimate Finance’s Asset team. As Head of our Broker Desk, she plays a crucial role in supporting our introducer network and providing funding to business owners.
When she’s not developing great relationships at work, she likes to dedicate her free time to her two children, aged 24 and 13, and her husband, with frequent holidays spent in their caravan in Wales. The artistic type, Bethan teaches at a local dance school and loves going to the theatre.
Cori Haley, Broker Coordinator
At 22, Cori began her career in the finance sector just six months ago when she joined our team as our new Broker Coordinator. Having quickly become a great source of support for our introducers, Cori enjoys the fast-paced environment that comes with providing Asset Finance solutions.
A qualified make-up artist, she also shares a love for travelling to discover new places and cuisines.
Sophie Illife, Underwriter
Closing on six years at Ultimate Finance, Sophie joined us as part of our Pay-Outs team and developed into the role to join the Broker Desk. Never one to be left unchallenged and through our supportive approach to career progression within our business, she was able to learn about all aspects of Asset Finance and has now taken on the role of Underwriter in our team.
A lover of good foods and spending quality time with her family and friends, she is being kept busy with an impressive full house renovation which she gets to escape from time to time to holiday in her caravan.
Tansy Pratten, Broker Coordinator
Considered as one of the longest serving members at Ultimate Finance, Tansy joined the business when it was just a start up, and thus has experienced first-hand the evolution of our lending proposition. Having assumed many roles throughout the years, she is now part of our Broker Desk where she enjoys developing relationships with introducers.
Married to her childhood sweetheart, they share their home with him and their two lively children and enjoys weekends away to explore new places or sharing food and drinks with friends when she’s not exercising to keep on top of her physical and mental health.
Amber Brownsword, Broker Coordinator
Amber joined our Asset Finance team two years ago as an Administrator in our Pay-Outs team before becoming a part of our Broker Desk where she thrives on the rewarding role, especially when working alongside our broker network to help a challenging deal get over the line.
In her free time, she loves to travel, with Nepal currently at the top of her bucket list, or adding new shoes to her impressive collection of trainers.
