Together, we’ll be raising funds and awareness for specialist Roald Dahl Nurses supporting seriously ill children across the UK.
We’re proud to announce Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity as Ultimate Finance’s official charity partner for 2026/27, following a company-wide employee vote.

What Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity does
Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity provides specialist Roald Dahl Nurses and vital support to children living with some of the most serious and complex health conditions.
Across the UK, their network includes over 200 Roald Dahl Nurses, working within NHS Trusts and Health Boards, supporting more than 40,000 seriously ill children.
These nurses are often a constant for families navigating incredibly challenging medical journeys. They help coordinate care, offer expert guidance, and provide emotional and practical support when it’s needed most.
Why this partnership matters to us
Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity delivers life-changing impact, but like many smaller charities, they benefit hugely from increased visibility.
So alongside fundraising, raising awareness will be a key focus of our partnership. By using our platforms, events and communications, we can help more people understand the charity’s work and help more families access the specialist support they need.
Just as importantly, having a charity partner gives our teams something powerful to rally behind. A shared cause creates real moments of connection across offices and departments, strengthens employee engagement, and brings colleagues closer together – not just through fundraising, but through a sense of shared purpose.
Our fundraising target for 2026/27
Over the course of the partnership, we’re aiming to raise £15,000.
With the charity’s overheads already covered, money raised through our partnership can go directly towards supporting seriously ill children and the specialist services around them.
How we’ll fundraise (and how you can support it)
We’ll be running activity throughout the partnership – from in-office events to wider initiatives designed to bring people together and turn momentum into measurable impact.
Some of the first activities planned include:
- The Ultimate “Dress Dahl” Day – a chance to get creative, have fun, and raise donations across our offices
- The Ultimate Finance 10,000 Steps Challenge – a month-long challenge where successful participants trigger a charity donation from Ultimate Finance
- The return of the Ultimate Charity Football Match – bringing colleagues and supporters together to raise funds and awareness
For our clients and introducers, there will be opportunities to support the partnership along the way. We’ll share updates as plans develop, so anyone who’d like to play a part can do so in a way that feels right.
