We held a webinar on Wednesday 17th June 2020 during which we were joined by Shaun Purrington, Managing Director of broker Avenue Insurance Partners, and Sarah Gillingham from our credit insurance partner, Euler Hermes, to look at the recent Government announcement of a £10bn reinsurance support package for credit insurers.
This was a unique opportunity to hear from the global leader in credit insurance about the scheme, its benefits and some of the practical considerations related to applying for insurance cover under it.
The new scheme enables credit insurers to consider writing more credit limit cover on companies which have been adversely affected by COVID-19 and to backdate such cover to 1st April 2020.
