Case Manager

Nationwide

Overview

We are seeking a highly organised and motivated Case Manager to join our dynamic bridging finance team. This role is integral to the success of the deal lifecycle — from initial enquiry through to pay-out — ensuring a seamless and efficient process for clients, brokers, and internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

  • Issuing indicative terms for new loan enquiries.
  • Preparing Heads of Terms documents for prospective deals.
  • Requesting and managing the full search pack for the internal team and wider sales force.
  • Reviewing and analysing credit searches, providing clear summaries to support decision-making.
  • Assisting in the completion of new business reports with relevant client and deal data.
  • Producing credit-backed offer letters for approved facilities.
  • Issuing valuation instructions and conveyancing instructions following credit committee approval.
  • Inputting new facilities into Sentinel in preparation for drawdown.
  • Compiling a complete client file ahead of pay-out to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Ensuring all client files are backed up and archived appropriately.
  • Engaging directly with clients and brokers throughout the lifecycle of a deal.
  • Providing weekly updates to brokers on case progress and outstanding actions.
  • Maintaining accurate, real-time CRM records to support business efficiency and visibility.

Characteristics & Behaviours

  • Clear and confident communication skills.
  • The ability to problem solve and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent time management and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • A self-motivated and proactive approach, with the flexibility to switch focus when required.
  • A strong sense of teamwork, with a supportive and collaborative attitude.
  • Confidence, professionalism, and alignment with our core values.
  • A naturally organised and solutions-oriented mindset.

Key skills and knowledge

  • A genuine passion for administrative work and a desire to do it to a consistently high standard.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry, documentation, and compliance tasks.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases, tasks, and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Confidence working with systems and documents, ideally with experience using a CRM or loan management system.
  • A methodical approach to work, ensuring processes are followed correctly and nothing is overlooked.
  • Consistency and reliability — someone who can be trusted to manage responsibilities independently.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly in producing clear, professional documents and updates.
  • A natural team player who takes pride in supporting colleagues and contributing to shared goals.
  • An interest in the property lending sector, with a willingness to learn more over time.
